Save the trouble and obtain a ready made kit from Audioclassics.com, they have been offering LED retro fits for McIntosh for a number of models. The other part of this modification is the LED changes the blue color of the meter and they include light filters to help keep the same look.
McIntosh led lamp replacement help
Hi Guys :
I finally made a decision and purchased a McIntosh MC7205 power amp and will be replacing the incandecent lamps with led's Someone said that I may have to put a resister inline with the lamp is this true.
Has anyone ever replaced these lamps. what is recommended procedure. They come as a kit with the faceplate film sheet and 13 lamps.
