McIntosh C500 Tube or ARC REF3?

They are close in price the McIntosh at 12K and the ARC at 10K. Anyone ever hear both and get an opinion that would make you spend the extra 2K? Or come away thinking WOW I just saved 2K? The McIntosh is much better looking but
there has to more, roght?
