McIntosh C49 Standby Light

Is this normal? My new McIntosh C49 “Standby” lettering lights up red when it’s in Standby 🤔. All of my other McIntosh gear does not.

All the red lights are off with the power OFF. In standby. All 4 of the red light are ON in standby and flick off when I boot the system and the front lights up. Illumination is also adjustable. 50 years with Mac June of this year. I was just 17 when I got my first Macs. 3 C4 mono preamps, 2 MC20s and a Mac 30Kit. The TD124 I bought was used I paid 35.00 for it. Enjoy your Mac. D1 or D2? Pretty good DAC? The latest I have is in my C2500. Regards
