McIntosh C2200 Pre-Amp

TUBE PRE'S...I WAS LEANING TOWARD THE ARC LS25MII. A FRIEND OF MINE SAID TO LOOK AT THE McINTOSH C2200 PRE-AMP. I ONLY
PLAY CD'S. HE SAID IT WAS VERY QUIET AND $1000 LESS.
ANY THOUGHTS?

One hell of a unit in terms of sound and looks. I could not believe the sound quality and spaciousness when I heard it. I definately suggest you give it a try - and if you need an amp, the matching Mc2102 rocks as well.
