Do you want to listen to music and a nice high volume for extended periods of time? If yes then go with the McIntosh all day ! And remember...There is no such thing as a used McIntosh amp, only NEW owners :-)
MC 255 or MC 303 + Emotiva XPA-2 Combo - For Stereo and 5.1 Music Listening
I'm trying to decide between the following amps for stereo listening (vinyl records) and for SACD 5.1 music listening. I'm using MX 123 as pre-amp and as my 5.1 processor. I have a couple of REL t/9x need to connect to the amp using speak-on connection for stereo listening.
Option 1: MC 255 (new)
Option 2: MC 303 (used) + Emotiva XPA-2 (new)
