Matching LP-S to a Graham 2.2 Using Extra Wt.?

I want to upgrade from a Benz LP to an LP-S using a Graham 2.2. The max. wt. for the G 2.2 is 15g and the LP-S is 16.7g. But I have an extra (two in total) of the add-on counter weights that would easily attach to the back of the one already on the arm. This would add an additional 34g. to the counter weight. Does anyone see a reason this wouldn't work to get the LP-S mated to a G 2.2?
