Martin Logan's subwoofers: BALANCEDFORCE 212?

wanted to buy high end subwoofers for music and home hreater. I was looking at Martin Logan's subwoofers: BALANCEDFORCE 212, any recomendations?

Their (Martin-Logan) Descent model (discontinued?) is also worth looking into. Neither of these have remote volume control which is a show-stopper for me.
