Martin Logan Odyssey purchase

I'm considering a pair from about the year 2000.
I have no experience with electrostatics but understand
panels need replacing periodically. I have been using
heavily modified and heavy(400lbs each)JBL 250Ti's. Incredible dynamics, but more important to me, detail and nuance.
My listening has become more oriented to solo instruments and classical ensembles. I am thinking-but do not know - that electrostatics may provide even more detail, nuance and emotion. I would appreciate comments from those who own or have owned ML's.
