Marantz Ruby SA KI sacd vs Marantz 30n

I dunno... as beautiful as the Ruby is, doesn't the 30n inherit its tech and also have the advantage of HEOS (as imperfect as it currently is, it will handle the basics) and an extra optical input to its dac..???  

I'd be pairing it up w either a Ruby amp or an Accuphase e-480... haven't decided on that quite yet; I mean, my ears aren't "golden" and are 60 years old; ie, I have to decide whether the 480 is worth three times the price.  Let's assume a Ruby amp, for the purposes of this discussion:  Ruby sacd vs 30n.

I'm less concerned with the "matching aesthetics" when it comes to looks... nothing else in my home "matches" so ... LOL.  I'm just talking about performance and practicality.  Does the Ruby sacd ACTUALLY audibly perform better than the 30n???  I have my doubts, but I could be wrong.  

If it doesn't perform better, then it would seem the 30n would be the logical choice.
