Marantz Model 140 power amp.

Marantz Model 140 power amp has a loud hum on one side. Anyone know what might be going on and would it be worth fixing?

If it's OK but the hum is still there in one channel it is likely the power supply cap/caps for that channel. An easy fix! Buy similar caps and replace all the old ones in both channels. Some soldering is required.

Don't know if it is the prob but I found a fuse supposed to be 4 amp 250 volt but whoever had this amp b4 me had the wrong fuse in it it was blown and they had the silver gum wrapper wrapped around it. Could that be my prob?
