Try wrapping electrical tape on the IEC end but it will only take one wrap or less, too much and you wont be able to plug in. I do this and I dont need to use velcro or zip ties.

Managing thick power cables...
I know have about 6 thick powercables hanging all over my audio rack. It looks like hell. I have them attached to the rack using velcro strips; otherwise, they have a tendency to come out of the components due to their weight.
Any ideas on how to manage this in a more reliably manner?
