Making a Difference

The death toll continues to mount in Asia and the suffering is heart-breaking; most of the injured and dead were children who did not have the physical strength to save themselves. The numbers are staggering, over 120,000 dead and more injured. This disaster has not only effected the folks living there, but many others who were visiting when the earthquake and tsunami hit. They need your help.

Relief agencies from all over the world are trying to do what they can to deliver much needed food, clean water, and medicine. Clearly there's much to be done and it will cost a lot of money.

It's easy to do your part, visit http://www.redcross.org/ or call 1-800-HELP-NOW and give what you can. May 2005 be a happier year for all.

Thanks Jeff, the more attention directed to that corner of the world the better off we all are. I can imagine also that as a frequent traveler to Asia this is probably hitting you harder than many, as if it weren;t difficult enough already.
