if you have air conditioning you should be fine
Maintaining audio equipment in asia
Hi everyone,
I just moved to Asia a month ago and all my audio equipment is on its way here by ship. Specifically, I'm in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and have just signed a house that's relatively open to air. The city has varying heat levels moving from a min. of 10 C to about 35 C, depending on the time of the year. But the humidity is what scares me about the equipment.
I was hoping I could reach out to the community to get some tips on how to maintain my equipment (listed below) in tip top shape. Ah, there's a lot of dust here. Luckily, I will have daily help to keep the place clean. So the tips would mostly be for training that person.
Thanks for your tips and can't wait to set up here!
