Magnepan MMG Placement in a Small Room

I bought a pair of MMGs a few months ago and I have been experimenting with placement. My dedicated listening room is small at 124"x148". After trying numerous techniques such as Cardas and rule of thirds, I found this yesterday: http://mclements.net/blogWP/index.php/2019/04/19/magnepan-speaker-setup/. For my room, it is a definite improvement. The speakers are now 36" from the front wall and my listening position is 36" from the back wall. The tweeters are to the inside with a slight toe in. I also widened the space between the speakers to 50". Got a D-Sonic amp delivering on Tuesday. Hope its better than the Akitika GT-102 Z4 I’m currently using. The Akitika is a fine amp, but maggies need more power. The next step is to get some room treatment since small rooms don’t have good acoustics.

A bit further out  will help. I am 6 feet into my room  with 1.7i's
Also Down the Road...think about a rebuilt crossover for the Maggies, the stock config holds them back quite a bit.

As far as toe in goes, I have mine tweeters in at about 25 degrees or so.
I get a more 3D stage  with this amount of toe in.
You are close with that setup. Maybe a little further out from the front wall but everything else is OK.
