Magnepan 3.7i vs Goldenear Triton one

Anyone heard both using the same equipment and in same room?
Both get best in show and the best reviews from everyone, just interested in thoughts on if you had to choose just one.

Please only chime in if you compared the two with the same system and same room, otherwise it s just pure speculation as to which is better.

Thanks !!

Maggies need plenty of power so which Rogue amp you're talking is important. Sure the Apollos would drive any Maggie, but smaller amps, not necessarily a match.
The strengths of these speakers are really different so cautionary comments from Onhwy61 and others should be heeded.
Given personal preferences are going to dictate the answer to your question, I'd emphasize that Maggies have been a safe bet investment wise for many years and that reputation has got to worth something in terms of both servicing in the future and potential resale value. Cheers,
