Maggie 3.7 with Infinite Baffle DIY Sub

I see lots of discussion on subs, and some on IB coupling better with Magnepans than sealed or ported designs. I am pretty handy and have considered a basement-mounted DIY opposing driver sub using rythmikaudio components. I wrote them and they advised me their only concern was cavity resonance coming from the box and through the floor joists, which I certainly understand. Given proper bracing and damping, does anyone have experience or referral threads to offer relative to a project like this? Thanks in advance. Flash
