Luxman C900u owners

Unable to break code running simultaneously active speakers with XLR OUT AND RCA OUT to subwoofer.  What do I select.  Yes, I’ve read supplied owners manual, to no effect.  Thank you in advance.

The answer:

Hi Douglas,

You cannot run the XLR OUT and RCA OUT simultaneously. The 'output mode' is chosen on the front panel. 'Balanced' for XLR, 'Unbalanced' for RCA. In either mode, LINE 1 and LINE 2 outputs operate simultaneously. This means you have to use RCA for both your speaker and sub, or XLR for both your speakers and sub.

Thank you.

Assuming your sub does not have XLR inputs, select XLR outputs on the C900u and use two XLR-RCA adapters on one pair of L/R XLR outputs to allow connection via RCA to the sub.

That’s where I’m going, except Mogami does XLR > RCA 6’ interconnect in their gold for $70 ea.  Not a fan of adaptors and it is a subwoofer.  So, while quality of signal is important, not as important as interconnects to speakers.  Thanks
