Lumin X1 and Upgraded DC umbilical cord for power supply.

The Synergistic Master fuse is directional, and it is not subtle. 50/50 shot and I installed it in the wrong direction in DAC. Destroyed my midrange.  Switched direction and wow. Highly recommend.  
 

No, I do not have a scientific explanation.  Sometime trial and error is the best approach. Ask the pharmaceutical companies.

I totally agree. It is hard to believe just a fuse can increases sound quality.

The AS umbilical was awesome, and definitely a step up. My apologies for being so late on this, as I do not post here often. Unfortunately, I cannot compare the AS umbilical to the WA one, I am very pleased with the AS though...

The reason I am here now, is that I am wondering (and inquiring) if a Swiss Digital Fuse Box would make any difference to the power supply of the Lumin X1.

Ozzy, please allow me to say that a fuse can make or break a system. I have the QSA Red/Black fuse and after break in? I was more than pleasantly surprised. Especially with the impact and percussion. Outstanding!

The SDFB....for the Lumin PS. Would you recommend or pass? (anyone is welcome to reply). Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I am still using the SR Master fuse in my Lumin X. But I too wonder if the SDFB could improve upon the SR fuse.

I think I'll try out the SDFB/graphine Sluggo, replacing the QSA R&B fuse in the external PS section of my amplifier first. Lots of good/positive comments all around about others doing just that. If it is as promising as it sounds it will be, then I'll get one for the UX1.
