How long has it been since you sold your analog rig. Technology has advanced tremendously in the last ten years. You can now put together a digital rig that sounds as good as analog at nearly any price point. The ongoing cost for music is $14.99 per month for millions of albums.
I own a tremendous analog rig. If I didn’t have 2,000 pristine albums collected over my lifetime, I would get rid of it, or not start again. I don’t listen to them... since streaming sound the same. Also, I’m retired and honestly getting up all the time isn’t as easy as it used to be.
If you like the whole vinyl, collecting and fiddling. I completely understand. It can be a fun pursuit. If I had a limited budget I would look again at VPI. A used Conrad Johnson or Audio Research phonostage. I have found a budget phono stage can really compromise the sound.
