longshot but any comparisons of Rogue RP-5 v2 and Audio-GD Vacuum HE1-XLR

after upgrading my speakers to the Martin Logan ESL-X, I will be trading in (or selling) my Rogue Cronus Magnum III and going back to tube pre with a 200w SS amp. I have pretty much equivalent offers for these two $4K preamps. Both have very strong reviews and may be the best performers at this price point. Balanced ins and outs are not a concern of mine- it’s a single rack with 1m quality cables. The designs are very different, as well as the tube complement. I know that there are a few AGD fans on here, and the RP-5v2 is fairly new to market, so this is a longshot to get opinions. Thanks

@roxy54 you mean you've spotted a typo in the repost? the original title has "Audio-GR" and figured some wise guy would be "what's that?" you wouldn't be that guy ;) |
