No experience with the gyrodec but the Arkiv b is a fine cartridge. However, even the newest ones are quite old- gotta be at least 20 years since the Arkiv b was discontinued. The good news is Goldring will rebuild the Arkiv B and as I seem to recall the price isn’t astronomical
