Line Magnetic LM 24 thoughts
I ran into a pretty good deal on a new Line Magnetic LM 24 CD player. I have read quite a bit regarding their amps and integrated units, but not a whole lot on the CD players.
Does anyone own or has owned one who'd be willing to give some feedback?

The drawer being a bit flimsy is a tale as old as time. I've owned so many CD players or transports where they build out some huge beefy chassis, nice looking footers, top notch sockets out back, etc. But then the drawer pops out and it feels about as solid as a pop tart. Sort of ruins the illusion of quality. Many of these units sounded excellent so obviously the drawer was not a deal breaker. Hope you enjoy your new player for years to come. |
Couldn’t agree more @v-fi, my favorite player until now was a Phillips CD80 with a tube output. Great player, smooth operator, flimsy tray. |

thank you both, we will see what we can do about it. but this drawer is very hard to order and there are not many option on the market even the whole supply chain, we already improved it at our LM-32CD. beside, even i need to google what is the pop tart while i have a feeling what ever it is, it gonna be very vivid. you nailed it. |
