Level / Measure Recommendations !!!

We'll shortly be taking the sections of timber frame that we are building off-site to where the foundations are going in. I'm keen to make sure that the frame is dead level / vertical. I'm assuming modern technology might help us here, but I've never owned this type of laser device.
