Least compressed

Looking for recomendations for least compressed (wide dynamic range) rock - in particular Zeppelin. Only recomendations of cds that are readily available (i.e. via amazon) - not worth time and effort to me to look for hard to find gems. Aerosmith - etc also welcome. Please identify as precisely as possible.

'While I like Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith very much, both bands put out some of the worst recordings ever, especially when transferred to cd.'

I must be listening to a different Led Zep........
Hi Bongo,
I have all original vinyl pressings of Led Zep as and when they came out many years past, plus nearly all off their cd's,
back in the UK.
I have not listened to zep vinyl for 20 years or so, so cannot remember to the recording quality of the albums,
I have bought a year or so ago 'The Complete Studio Recordings' cd box set, and I find it all rather well recorded and can be cranked as and when the mood strikes without hurting the ears with bad sounds, and certainly nowhere near as bad as Tpreaves suggests.
How can anyone say 'The Crunge' sounds bad on the Houses of the Holy box set cd?
I do not know if the box set is remastered or not, not that I care either as it sounds all good to my ears.
