I understand this is a very old post, I just spotted it now ... but I also have a pair of Lamm M1.2 Reference amps, which have always made a humming / buzzing noise (not through the outputs, but a physical noise emanating from both amps). What I find interesting, is that I also live in New Zealand... so I wonder if that is a contributing factor.
The only way I got rid of the noise was by running through a PS Audio PowerPlant 10 power regenerator... which is unfortunate, since Lamm recommend in the manual not to use such devices. I emailed Lamm but never heard back, so they’ve been gathering dust for some years now :-( I'd not thought about using a dedicated circuit though, so might give that a go, they are very musical amps but the buzzing always drove me nuts.
