I spend many hours at BBL in the 90’s and 2000’s. Sheila Berdan has done a great job with the shop since the passing of her husband Brooks. Sheila hired me to put a band together for Brooks’ 50th birthday party, at which he got up on my drumkit and played "Wipe Out" with the band. Happiest I ever saw him! Sheila’s son Brian (trained by Brooks) has his own shop in nearby Pasadena (Audio Elements), also a mighty fine hi-fi shop.
