L.A. people help

Hi,

I'm getting gouged on shipping 35 laser discs out of L.A. to my home in Santa Cruz. They want $45.00 and they also want to ship Priority mail why I don't know. I feel like making them ship to my family on the East Coast just to prove a point. (What that point is, I'm not quite sure :^) Does anyone have the time to go pick these puppies up for me and ship them UPS ground? There's a copy of Princess Bride in the batch for your trouble or maybe one or two of the other ones. I'll owe you!

Are you serious....HAHAHAHAHAHA...you want someone ot go "pick up"...and then go stand in line at a UPS outlet to mail it to you in Santa Cruz?...not to mention battling the L.A. traffic ( I know...I spend 6 months a year in Hancock Park ) and for this service you are offering a copy of 'Princess Bride' or "maybe one or two of the other ones"...lets see...LD's are worth about 5 bucks a piece...if that and you want 2-3 hours worth of work...in LOS ANGELES no less...for a couple crummy LD's...dude...step up to the plate...if you can afford to live in L.A. (and Santa Cruz) you can afford $45 to ship your discs.
