Krell Showcase Processor

I am going to ditch my TAG AV32R DP and probably get the Showcase, I really like the room eq feature...

Any comments, opinions about Krell processors, I will be using mainly digital inputs, except for the tunner...

I also use DPLII for all stereo sources, is Krell´s implementation good ?

I connect my video sources direct and don´t use the pass thru, also prefer lively dynamic sound...

By the way, after 4 days burn-in there are no hints of grain or harshness, and timbre is very natural, better than the warmth of the TAG...

In the end I was lucky I had to replace the TAG, I much prefer the Krell...
I had a Krell showcase for about a year and dumped it after checking out the new Parasound Halo C2. The video smoked the Krell and the 2 channel pass thru is incredibly lifelike. I also found that the audio section had more warmth and presence compaired to the Krell. This C2 is a definate sleeper!
I have my Showcase now, the increase in dynamics over the TAG is awsome, but timbre and detail are a bit worst, although improving with run-in...

DPLII works fine, even has an extra mode, DPLII Matrix, that works very well with TV input, and I love the remote...
tag is stopping the audio side of thier operations. Go to the tag website to read all about it.
I've had the Showcase in my system for about a year and have been nothing but pleased. One nice feature is that Krell allows you to hook up both analog and digital outputs from the same gear. If anything strange happens to the digital, (as often does with my Tivo) it automatically switches back to analog.

Thanks to the Krell, my collection of concert dvds has increased 4 fold. Just because of how much better they look and sound. Especially through the component inputs.
