Tube rolling in Cayin A-88T
I always read that amplifiers shouldnt be connected to mains filters, but, as the Cayin only uses 280 watts, I connected it to my ESE labs Balanced isolation transformer...Well, it did almost the same it did to the TEAC, smoother highs, more body,...

Leaving HT for 2 channel-Good or Not?
I am 100% with RAMYThe other day the woofer of one of my surround speakers blew, believe me, something important was missing from even CDs, (I use DPLII always), with stereo it just doesn´t feel like being in the room with the musicians, dull...Of...
Plasma TVs and center channel speakers
I will have the same problem when I get a plasma, hopefully soon...But as I found out the center sounds much better bellow the screen, sound comes from it, instead of from the ceiling, I will get a floor stand for the plasma, place it behind the r...
where do you cross over your ht setup
I´ve had the next door neighbour knocking on my door because there was a war going on his living room, I was watching Saving Private Ryan... ;)Any way, what I really love to listen to properly is music, and I hear mainly the great sound tracks on ...
where do you cross over your ht setup
Well, I dont think two REL Strata III, (they are closed boxes, so should have a reasonable Q, tightness), in a not too large golden ratio room, 15 x 24 x 9, are what you call inadequate subwoofers...
