Krell Modulari duo associated equipment

After many years of owning a vast array of hi end gear, I decided to assemble a complete Krell Evolution System likely to end up as a multichannel setup. I’m looking for opinions from anyone with direct knowledge of mating Lat 1000 or Modulari speakers with evolution 402 or 600 monos. I’ll be using the evo707 as a preamp and I have a master reference subwoofer. I’m looking for guidance of pairing cables to this system, speaker, power, cast or other interconnect cables. Thanks for looking.

I worked at a major krell dealer for many years the lat speakers weren't anything special so I would look elsewhere

What speakers are you using now and do you like them? Speaker choice is usually a very personal thing and obviously your amp will drive just about anything.

Right now I’m using Krell Modulari duo reference speakers. I found them intriguing to try. I’ve owned Wilson, BW, Sonus faber among others. I really bought these to try something new, I’m always willing to try something else in a few months if I can’t find the synergy I’m searching for with the Krell equipment. I’ve owned many electronics brands of the moment like Halcro, Sim audio, electrocompaniet, esoteric etc. thanks

@laxfan you may not like my recommendation not in the way of speakers but in the way of speaker/setup synergy.

I'd suggest you take your time with speaker/room coupling first Not getting that right can make or break a speaker's sound in room regardless of how great they're. the room influences a massive section of the frequency response responsible for grooves, slam, grunt, head banging bass and rich fundamental tones for many instruments. Certain frequencies becoming nulls in your room as a result of your placement of the speakers can lead to a good speaker sounding lifeless and changing to another speaker won't fix that.

Anyway, nothwithstanding, get a pair of these - Perlisten S7T
