Krell KAV250a or Krell KSA 100s

I currently have a Krell KAV 250a 250 watt amp paired with a Sonic Frontiers Line 1 tube pre-amp and driving a pair of Dynaudio Contour 1.3 Mk 11 speakers. I'm considering switching to the Krell KSA 100s 100 watt amp. The KSA is higher up on the Krell food chain but has less watts for my power hungry speakers. Unfortunately I cannot do an A and B test. Has anyone compared these two rigs? Any thoughts?
