Klipsch Cornwall IV

Hello all,

I'm interested in what people who have heard the speaker feel about it. I currently run spatial M3 turbos and have an all tube analog setup ( line magnetic, hagerman ) with an oppo 105 being the digital front end.

Previous speakers have been acoustic zen, reference 3A, Maggie 3.6, and triangles. I am more concerned with a huge immersive sound stage than I am with pinpoint imagery. I have a big room and have plenty of space between the back wall and my speakers if I need it.

Any thoughts?

Amazing how many posts on the Cornwall IV....  anyone who has heard the III or IV properly set up has to admit they sound great even if they are Klipsch haters.   I bought my Forte IV based on the sound of the Heresy IV and Cornwall IV.   I could not hear the IV in person but bought them sight unseen after hearing the were voiced like the Cornwall.   I could have easily justified the Cornwall if I had the room , maybe some day.
I have to respectfully disagree about the CF4 being close to the Cornwall...  I owned a pair of CF 4, they were a fun speaker but the CW IV is better in every parameter.   In fact I am going to be so bold to say that my Forte IV sound so much better than the CF 4 that its not even a contest.
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the Forte IV....  I've had mine since February and love them....

I think the Cornwall are well worth the money if space allows.  Seems like a lot of happy owners in this thread
I wasn't even looking for new speakers ....but I couldn't pass up a generous trade in....  if not for that I would still be enjoying my Heresy.

I  think many here who trash Klipsch haven't heard the Heritage models of late.   You either love em or hate em..... but no need to trash them

Thats just the thing about the new Heritage, they love good electronics.  They reward you with better sound when you make the right choice in amplification.    I was a with a non audio enthusiast and stopped by a Klipch dealer to pick up an accessory during work.   We ended up listening to the Cornwall with the little Luxman 10 watt EL84 integrated amp.  That combo sounded scary lifelike , he was blown away .  He had never heard anything quite like that in a home listening environment
So for anyone doing a demo on the Cornwall IV vs. Forte IV !   Let me suggest you play the opening of  SRV 's "Crossfire"   on both.  not many speakers can reproduce that like the Cornwall or K Horn.   The Forte does a pretty good job, but that track clearly demonstrates the Cornwall's sense of scale.   Play it on both , if your room and wallet allow you will be sold on the Cornwall
