The best way to connect the Kenwood into the Audio Research would be to use a tape output / record output of the Kenwood into an input on the preamp. You bypass the volume control and a gain stage of the Kenwood. Enjoy ! MrD.
Kenwood KA 8100 Int Amp question re: phono stage
I have A Kenwood KA 8100 .
I would like to use the phono stage only on this unit.
I would be paring it with an Audio Research LS 7 Pre Amp.
Should I remove the Kenwood jumpers ... or use pre amp without jumpers ?
other option : ....leave jumpers in Kenwood .
I want to use phono stage because it has 2 phono hook ups.
