That is great news, but seeing "Remastered" makes me cautious. Will it be the typical compressed release that is prevalent today?

I hope Kate was involved in the project since she has always insisted on high quality recordings. In fact, after "The Red Shoes" was released she hated the product so much that she remastered it via her production company "Fish People." The result is an analogue-like CD.

I’m a Kate collector; I own the original UK box set 1978-1990 plus so many versions of her vinyl I cant keep track. So I’m up for a collection such as this.

I have many of her original LPs.  I cannot see how they could do much better than them.

Her first box set "Anthology" had many extra tracks not included on albums. Perhaps the new release will as well.
