Just heard an NPR music segment on Karen Dalton. For some reason, I often loathe NPR on music, but Dalton's voice got under my skin. I gather her recording history is somewhat complex -- what are my best bets on digital?
Ncarv: Fair point. I should have been more clear. NPR has great music, but the commentary on the music often strikes me as unbearably pretentious. For example, the piece on (the unmissable!) Sera Cahoone below. "Sonic footrub"? Sheesh ;) John
