Because it will smoke a Technics SP10mk3 and you don't have to waste time trawling the net to replace obsolete and defective chips.

It is a current product that is fully serviceable from the factory. No maintenance issues is an important factor in audio in my view. Not anti DD read my posts more carefully. Thank you.
