Jerry Raskin’s ( AKA Needle Doctor ) passed away.

I knew Jerry for almost 40 years. Growing up by Dinkytown USA near the University of Minnesota where Jerry started the Needle Doctor: I was privileged to get to know him and be apart of his generosity he shared with all that new him. With my love for Audio I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the level of satisfaction I had during all those years if it wasn’t for Jerry’s generosity. He allowed me to purchase a lot things close to cost for him, just to see me happy. He will sadly Missed. “RIP Jerry”

Great guy, employees.

I took my Nottingham over because I broke off one of the terminations. One of the guys at the desk re-soldered it and guess what-no charge.

That kind of service comes from the top.

RIP Jerry
RIP Jerry Raskin (Needle Doctor).

So many "gray-hairs" and brick and mortar audio stores are becoming a memory of the old days.  Not many left.
Sad to hear this.  The store has been closed for a while now.  I was surprised that Jerry didn't sell the business to someone to keep it going.  Anyway, he will be missed, much as his store is missed.  RIP Jerry!
As someone who lives in St. Paul it was a punch in the gut when it closed .You could just bring in your TT and they would check it out for free .etc, etc .RIP .

Very unlikely there will  be a new owner .

The business has been closed for over a year now. He ran into health issues the last few years and lost interest in running the business.
Dinkytown?
Just missed Todd Rundgren at the little theater by a few weeks when my son started grad school there.
RIP Jerry, never knew ya.
