It's time to get paid Re my post from 12-27

My problem was solved after seven months. It's time for @soix and @rbstehno to receive $40 each for providing the correct response. You can PM me and I will Zelle today.

For months I thought for sure that my problem was happening due to a glitch with Innuos or ROON. After speaking with a Bryston tech, he suggested it was likely a faulty DAC card and he was right.

I received the DAC card in a few days at no charge. I was trying to install myself but the unit requires a very small torx bit (maybe a size 8) which I didn't have. After my dealer installed the card I still couldn't get anything from digital input. After a few days, the Innuos and the BP 17cubed "found" each other and everything works great. I was originally bummed because all the playlists I had put together were lost. I'm surprised that a DAC cord stopped functioning after maybe five years but digital products are different than analog and perhaps more prone to failure.

Regarding Bryston, customer service is truly amazing. Their techs return calls promptly, the DAC card was free of charge and they followed up until the problem was fixed.

Thanks to all

No payment necessary — we’re all here to help each other.  Just glad you got it sorted and can enjoy listening again!

I’ll take the money that @soix refused although I didn’t do squat for you. PM me for details.

Also glad that you are enjoying music again; it sounds like it was a long road .

It was a very difficult process but I didn’t expect a DAC to stop functioning after only about 5 years. I'm not very handy with software issues but I should have considered the DAC as the potential problem.
You’re a long time member so you can imagine if you don’t have all your music to listen to.
Thanks for your input.
