It's Perpetual Techn. P3A a real bargain?

I want to buy this DAC for use it with my DVD player (Sony 7700),but I would appreciate to have of the impressions on this budget component.Under $1000 what is the best in transparency, dynamic and harshness?

Get the model with the dan Wright Signature mods it really id the best bargain for the price!

Agreed. It is a pretty good performer with Dan's mod. (I had one for a year.) Look for a cheap used one on audiogon and have it modded.
