Oppo is rushing release for business reasons, and that will open the risk that no matter what beta program they do, of a false start. Since most CES stuff to be released in the first quarter 2009 was in the pipeline from early third quarter 2008, the distributors will have an inventory problem. There will a lot of 'fire sales' in the second quarter 2009. Good things come to those that wait.
Is Oppo Blu-Ray official release at CES?
Does anyone know if their Blu-ray player will be available for sale corresponding to this years CES show?
