Is my VDH MC Magnetized Does this Create Noise

I HAVE SOME NIOSE THAT STRTED OUT OF NOWHERE ON MY VPI JR MK 4 I HAVE VDH COLIBRI CART ITS A FAINT DRAGING SOUND ON ONE CHANNEL COULD IT BE MAGNITIZED OR STATIC OR LEAST LIKLY BEARING NIOSE IV ALWAYS HAD GOOD MM CARTS AND DONT KNOW ABOUT HOW TO DEMAG OR IF IT SHOULD BE DONE SAVE ME"

i found the problem it was static charge built up on the table and with a wilson benesh carbon arm no ground source to go to, so the cartrige would pickup noise. the fix- atach a ground wire to the center bearing housing under the table what do you know -no more niose.
can you describe the noise better. It's really hard to guess what it might be at this point.
VDH states on their website that they do not recommend that any cartridge be subjected to de-magnetization.
1. check leads and possibly clean them and make them tighter.
2. check an anti-skate or vary it to see if it fixes the problem.
3. stylus wear! if it's still on warranty than call immediately to retip.
4. check normal tracking force and azimuth
5. it's definitely not magnetizing issue. the cartridge normally should always be magnetized and demagnetizing might realy screw-up normal performance.
