Disagree with everyone who says political views should not be a factor.
Think of it this way, it is very common to support brands who we feel align with our values. I know someone who keeps buying a new Subaru every couple years. He and his wife can afford much more expensive cars but are huge dog lovers, that's one of the most important things in their lives. Subaru donates many millions of dollars each year to ASPCA and other pet related causes. So their interests align and they like supporting Subaru.
This isn't so different. Everyone is free to support things that line up with their values, and similarly not support things they dislike. It happens all the time on both sides of politics, with boycots and such. How many people out there no longer listen to a certain band due to that band's views? Is this really any different? We might even still love the music but make the choice to leave it behind if we dislike the artist for one reason or another. Nothing wrong with that, you vote with your wallet on some level.
