Marantz and Klipsch are always a good combo and should be considered. The PM8004 would get you in under budget. I am presently running Parasound separates with Cornwall III's and very pleased. You should be able to get into them for about (maybe less?) than 2k. Excellent. One of our local (Denver) high end shops claimed they dropped NAD over reliability issues, but do some research as I have no experience with that brand. Best of luck and cheers!!
Integrated Amp for Klipsch RF-7II
I am upgrading my RF-82 towers to RF-7II towers. Right now I'm using a Denon AVR-1912 but would like to upgrade to an integrated stereo amp.
Right now the only one that seems to jump out at me is the Peachtree Nova125 but I'm hearing varying opinions on how loud it'll be able to crank. With these being very sensitive speakers I'd imagine the amp would have no problem, but would love to hear from you all. The Peachtree separates are on sale right and are extremely intriguing, but the simplicity of the Nova is extremely appealing. Help! I'm open to other similar options, especially from those that have heard RF-7IIs and know what pairs with them well.
