I had a similar experience as @Baylinor with my PS Audio SACD transport and Gustard DAC. Wound up going the path of least resistance and selling the Gustard and buying a PSA DAC. PSA customer support was extremely helpful, worked with Paul himself, figuring out the Gustard mismatch. My recommendation would be to contact PSA about the pin variations. What make I2S cable are you using? I had the most success with Audioquest. Rich |
I would try a different cable to rule out the possibility of a bad cable. You can get a cheap Monoprice for that exercise.
