i need a good streaming solution with powered speakers that

I guess you just get a streamer and powered speakers and keep the CD's. I'm streaming and still have my cd's. no problem

and if you wish to upgrade the transport? or use a better dac? 

i just listened to the moon dac amp small totem speakers and moon trnsport/cd player. dettiled but lacking energy and excitement.. too expensive for the emotional impact it produces.
