It cannot hurt to message a few of the sellers and ask them if they can measure the id and check the actual weight for you?

yes ....you can this.
No idea if something like this would work for now but there are quite a number of JVC counterweights on eBay.

Just a thought.
@lardawg

You can always try searching for a compatible from another brand after measuring the inside diameter and comparing the weight.
My tone arm shaft size is .540 in. / 13.71 mm.   I have read the weight is between 110 / 120 grams.  Original is not necessary if it will work & get me up & running I'll take it....thanks

I was looking at that exact table on eBay a few weeks ago and it was missing the counterweight. That’s why it was cheap obviously.

So a further eBay search did actually turn up a counterweight!

I was going to buy the tt and the counterweight but went a different direction.

I assume you have searched eBay.

Point is that they are out there but you may have to wait a while.

Good luck.
Actually I bought this table new. Lost the counter balance in a recent move. I'm heartbroken to think this table is now junk. Looked for a parts donor / No luck so far.
You might have to buy another complete TT! I assume you got the QL-5YF for free or paid very little for it (thrift store find?).

Hi, it will be difficult to get; you can try to get it done by a turner after knowing how many grams weighs
On my Denon DA 309 I did so.
