I found a way to get around tariffs that will raise the price of audio equipment.

I found a way to get around tariffs that will raise the price of audio equipment. What is your solution?

Yes I am serious and this will work. Much talk has been created about sitting down and enjoying the music... finally. Even more discussions about the ever ending quest for better gear vs just enjoying the gear you now own.

So that's what I will do. I am not buying new gear. I will enjoy the music now.

Green energy jobs? Green energy is a joke and a feel-good creation. Nuclear is the only "clean" option. Please do your research.

Forgot that no one is making any money on green energy and that this energy solution was initially proposed by paupers. I guess who makes the billions is the important thing.

Despite the fact that one of the many supporters of nuclear is a billionaire perhaps you should still do some research.

Well I can do without this forum but not without screenwriters and truckers. Can someone explain how the AI issue differs from the rumblings made during the early years of automation.

Wow. Even below my expectations.

If we need power then we need a cleaner, more efficient way of production. A simple search on efficacy of different types might open some eyes.

Green energy is the current, fashionable unacceptable solution. Your attempt to tie nuclear to a particular political leaning is foolish and betrays a lack of understanding. Predictable but still impotent. Trump has nothing to do with this discussion. Being sold a problematic bill of goods and accepting it because you feel a kinship with the source perhaps does.

Yes green is improving and it is premature to abandon until we start with the new nuclear plants. To me this is not a political issue. A simple example of having to do something quickly to satisfy the pundits and not implementing the most efficient and reliable method because nuclear was out of fashion. And no it is not "just like wind". The efficacy does not vary according to external conditions. Also if you add on subsidies and credits the initial and ongoing costs are very high. Wind turbines also do not age particularly well. Not to mention having to look at these ugly bastards. During peak times which may be during times of little to no production (no to little wind) this power must be supplied by other means.

I have heard stories of bird kills, but having walked around the base of a number of these monstrosities I havent noticed this to be a problem.

At this point, fission is fiction. Solar is more attractive than wind.

We are not discussing fossil fuels. To this I would also add that you dont have this answer and as such you are wasting my time. You research the difference in subsidization in the last decade and get back to me. The difference might not be a significant as you think.
