I could have started this on the cables thread.....but....

After 24 hours of system operation with music playing, I have concluded that the factory umbilical cable between my Usher P307A chassis and power supply has been a "bottleneck" to my preamps performance...actually, the system performance. I decided to contact Brad, the owner and designer of Revelation Audio Labs, and he graciously designed and built an umbilical cable for me. So far, what I am hearing from this cable, are fireworks! More to come and thank you for your interest in what I have to say. Always, MrD.

There has never to my knowlege been any sound quality issues with RAL cables.

I own a RAL umbilical for my MF Titan power amp, It's excellent.

You should be careful handling them because they are solid silver and cryoed and can break if you twist them aggressively.

If Brad is back in customer support mode I'll order a pre-amp umbilical soon.
