Huge Fran Healy fan

Lead singer/writer of the band Travis. The album Wreckorder is a good one to start with. It must have some merit as Paul McCartney plays on it.

Making 'best of' playlists of his soothing voice and catchy phrasing is so satisfying. Can't stop listening to him and Kacey Musgraves. They both leave me feeling better about life.

I’ve been promoting Fran/Travis here for years. Judging by the lack of comment to my posts, I only assume he/they are underappreciated here. Neko Case also sings on "Wreckorder."

I remember when 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?' was a big hit - I really liked that song, and I got to see them play a free outdoor concert in San Francisco around that same time....
