How to tell version of Shunyata Hydra 8

Can someone please tell me how to identify which version a Shunyata Hydra 8 is? From my understanding there are two versions. Does the manufacture date identify this?

Next best thing is the serial number which will also state v2 or you can call or e-mail in serial id numbers and get an exact report of date of manufacture etc... Grant Shunyata Research
